1.) Kevin Durant scores 39 points to lead the Oklahoma City Thunder in closing the series against the Los Angeles Clippers with a 104-98 win. OKC advances to face the San Antonio Spurs in the Western Conference Finals.

2.) The Indiana Pacers win Game 6 against the Washington Wizards 93-80 to close the series. David West led the way with 29 points. They will face the Miami Heat for a rematch of last year’s Eastern Conference Finals.

3.) Aaron Hernandez indicted on double murder charge from 2012.

4.) Angels center fielder Mike Trout hits a three-run jack in the bottom of the ninth inning to beat the Tampa Bay Rays 6-5. This was Trout’s first walk-off home run of his career.

5.) The Cleveland Browns sign wide receivers Miles Austin and Earl Bennett to fill the absence of Josh Gordon, who is suspended for the 2014 season due to failing an NFL drug test for marijuana.

6.) The Anaheim Ducks will host Game 7 of the heated rivalry series against the Los Angeles Kings at 6:00 p.m.

7.) On this day in 2003, the Anaheim Mighty Ducks advanced to the Stanley Cup Finals for the first time in franchise history.

8.) Happy birthday to hall-of-fame running back Thurman Thomas, who turns 48 today.

9. Embattled Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling refuses to pay $2.5 million fine and plans to sue the NBA.

10.) Michael Jordan was named the NBA’s Rookie of the Year on this day in 1985.
