1. The Rangers beat the Kings 2-1 to stay alive and cut the series lead to 3-1 in the Stanley Cup Finals. Game Five is set for Friday night at Staples Center.

2. The Dodgers still haven’t won more than three straight games all year as they lose to the Reds 5-0.

3. Byron Scott interviews a second time with the Lakers for the head coach position.

4. The Edward Jones Dome that is home to the St. Louis Rams is rapidly running out of funds.

5. Dozens apply for buyouts at the Orange County Register as heavy layoffs are expected soon. T.J. Simers, columnist for the recently launched LA Register, took a buyout last week instead of being laid off.
