Viewpoint 45  Sage Hill 6 FINAL—The team nobody is talking about improved to 3-0 and is averaging 43 points per game. Prediction: The Patriots will be unbeaten Halloween night when they take the field against Sierra Canyon.

Hart 49 Paraclete 17 FINAL—Melquise Stovall rushes for 181 yards and a touchdown but the Spirits defense is wiped out by six touchdown passes.

Burroughs 45 Rosemead 17 FINAL—The Indians, grieving at the news of former teammate Jake Gnasso’s passing in a car accident, scored five second half touchdowns to blow open a 10-10 game with the Panthers. Chance Bell scored two touchdowns as did Hunter Guerin, one by punter return.

Whittier 51 Whittier Christian 28 FINAL—The Heralds actually led late in the third quarter, 28-26, before the Cardinals went on their decisive run. WC’s Cooper Hughes had three touchdown passes…but Whittier running back Ruben Pena went for 198 yards and five touchdowns.

Pasadena Poly 30 Linfield Christian 22 FINAL—Panthers go to 3-0 and keep an eye on an October 24th date at Rio Hondo Prep.

Arrowhead Christian 56 Twentynine Palms 27 FINAL: Bradley Mowbray throws five touchdown passes, receiver Matt Thompson catches four of them as Eagles cruise to 3-0 record.

Banning 17 Desert Hot Springs 10 FINAL—DHS led 7-0 at the start of the fourth quarter thanks to a short touchdown run by Roman Camacho before they came up short at the end. They are now 0-3.
