4. The Walnut Mustangs are 16-5 and 4-0 in the Hacienda League after beating Chino 77-22 Friday night. Jr. Dwight Ramos leads the Mustangs in scoring at 18.3 ppg.
5. Former Chicago Cubs slugger Ernie Banks passed away from heart failure last Friday at the age of 83.
6. Cleveland Browns receiver Josh Gordon has failed another drug test and will be subject to a one-year suspension.
7. Pasadena knocked off Muir 56-46 to take control of the Pacific League in Basketball. The Bulldogs will look to avenge their only league loss tomorrow against Hoover.
8. On this day in 1986 the Chicago Bears defeated the New England Patriots 46-10 in Super Bowl XX. Bears’ DE Richard Dent was named the game MVP.
9. Team Irvin beats Team Carter 32-28 in the 2015 NFL Pro Bowl. Matthew Stafford earned the MVP honor throwing for 316-yards and two touchdowns for Team Irvin.
