Miles Bryant and the number two Golden Knights knock off another quality opponent

Cathedral and St Francis stayed strong while the next four teams took a tumble. Burbank got a huge win over Crescenta Valley to gain control in the Pacific, while Burroughs was blowing out Muir. La Mirada is supreme in the Suburban. Salesian out, La Salle in.

1. Cathedral (4-0, 0-0) – The Phantoms pass test with win over Dorsey.

2. St. Francis (4-0, 0-0) – Golden Knights get another win over quality opponent.

3. La Serna (3-2, 0-0) – Won’t beat the Lancers up too much for falling to Rancho Cucamonga.

4. Burbank (3-1, 1-0) – The Bulldogs establish themselves as “The Man” in the Pacific.

5. Burroughs (3-1, 1-0) – Chance Bell and the Indians take no prisoners in rout of Muir.

6. La Mirada (2-3, 0-0) – Can we just hand the Suburban League trophy to the Matadores now?

7. Dominguez (3-2, 0-0) – Dons blitzed by Westlake but should be fine in league.

8. Cresecenta Valley (2-2, 1-0) – Offense needs a big play guy.

9. Downey (2-3, 0-0) – Non league death march ends; Vikes open SGV league with Dominguez October 9.

10. La Salle (4-1, 0-0) – Lancers jump into Top 10 with rout of Bellflower.
