Could this guy be the next HC at SC?

Good Afternoon!

T-Minus-252 Days until “The Mid Valley Classic”

Kurt Warner yesterday was off the charts…and I’m pro-Warner…always have been….but are you kidding me? That Packer defense we heard so much about this season couldn’t get a glove on him? There wasn’t one blitz package they could dial up to disrupt him?

I wanted the Cardinals, I’m glad the Cardinals won, and I hope they beat the snot out of the Saints, but in the course of that amazing game I kept waiting for them to get to Warner.

Stop the presses! Mark McGwire admits to doing steroids!

I never thought for a million years McGwire had done steroids…just like I never thought O.J. killed those people, that Ted Kennedy ever had a drink, or that anybody other than Charlie Sheen could have been husband of the year.

Please…I welcome Blue State’s input…but this seems like a feeble attempt to get some Hall of Fame consideration next year by McGwire.

By the way is Andre Dawson really a Hall of Famer?

Speaking of Hall of Fames, I liked Floyd Little when he played (really did see him play)…but I hated Roger Craig when he was with the 49ers. And you don’t hate somebody on a rival team unless they are very, very, good.

I think Fred Dean getting in two years ago was mistake. Charles Haley should have gone in before Dean. Haley was more dominate for a longer period of time than Dean was and has the rings to prove it. What hurts Haley is that he was thoroughly nuts.

Addios to Pete Carroll, thanks for the memories…No regrets from my end, but why not stick around at a place where you know you won’t ever get fired to go to a place where they will can you pronto.

Note to Pete: Unlike USC, your offensive line, running game, receivers, and even your quarterback are second tier by NFL standards. Think about it.

I have not heard a rumor about Matt Koffler applying for the USC job, but I do have a pair of emails wanting me to nominate former Temple City HC and current San Marino OC Mike Mooney for the gig.

My only question regarding Mooney would be how much big timing would he do to me at that level?

Actually Mooney’s skin is light enough and he speaks without a San Marino accent…I think he would make a good candidate for the USC job.

It’s good to be back…happy to be here.

Stay thirsty my friends…
