5. The Sacramento Kings hire Dave Joerger as head coach. Memphis fired Joerger last Sunday.

6. Kansas City Royals infield prospect Raul Mondesi, son of former Dodger Raul Mondesi, was suspended 50 games for positive test for performance enhancing drugs.

7. “Of course I think the Blazers are done.” – Golden State forward Draymond Green after the Warriors 132-125 OT win over Portland Monday night.
