1.) “Rex Ryan and Kevon Seymour had a slight disagreement last week, even if they didn’t know about it. The (Buffalo) Bills’ coach said he can’t remember a bad practice the rookie cornerback from Southern California has had.”—From the Buffalo News. Seymour (Muir) was selected in the sixth round out of USC by the Bills.

2.) On this date in 1995, Mike Tyson returns to he ring for the first time in four years against Peter McNeely. McNeely’s trainer steps into the ring and stops the fight 1:29 into the first round when Tyson knocks McNeely down for the second time.

3.) Blair High School alum Sean Smith is the starting right cornerback for the Oakland Raiders. Smith, now in his eighth season after being drafted out of Utah in the second round of the 2009 draft by Miami, has ten career interceptions. He played with the Kansas City Chiefs from 2013-2015 and has missed only four games in his previous seven seasons.

4.) The San Francisco Giants have sold out AT&T Park 468 consecutive times.

5.) On this date in 1983 the Los Angeles Dodgers traded Dave Stewart and Ricky Wright to the Texas Rangers for Rick Honeycutt.

7.) Former APU Cougars running back Terrell Watson rushed the ball four times last night for 28 yards and caught to passes for 12 yards for the Cleveland Browns in their 24-13 loss to the Atlanta Falcons.

8.) For the Record: Mark Keppel has lost 80 consecutive Almont League. Its last league win came in 1999 against San Gabriel.
