1. Conor Gillaspie hits a three-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to give the San Francisco Giants a 3-0 win over the New York Mets in the NL Wild Card game.

2. Washington Redskins cornerback Josh Norman is fined $10,000 for shooting an imaginary bow and arrow after his interception in Sunday’s win over the Cleveland Browns.

3. The Clippers were down by as many as 53 points in a 120-75 rout by the Golden State Warriors Tuesday night in the preseason opener.
