7.) Legendary BYU football HC, LaVell Edwards died yesterday at the age of 86. Developed quarterbacks: Gary Sheide, Gifford Nielsen, Marc Wilson, Jim McMahon, Steve Young, Robbie Bosco, Ty Detmer, and Steve Sarkisian. Members of his coaching tree included: Mike Holmgren, Andy Reid, Mike Leach, and Kyle Whittingham.
