10.) On this date in 1953, the Boston Braves, who own Milwaukee minor league franchise, block the St Louis Browns attempt to shift their franchise to Milwaukee. The Browns would move to Baltimore following the 1953 season, and the Braves relocated to Milwaukee that season.

    I’m 71 and still pushing the rock up the hill Herschel. Looking forward to getting over it soon. I am not convinced you must live your life at 100 mph as if to prove something to somebody. I think the quiet and serene life is equally valuable in youth and later.

    All CIF games are on FOX Sports App on Prep Zone.
    I moved down the street from a new school that is making their first trip to CIF central section final in Fresno.

    My HS Pasadena is playing HW that has a 5 star player and is last years D4 state champions. Will be a tough fight to the finish

    @ 60 its “The Neptune Society”, Right Tim and Joe?….Hey I can’t wait until Trump’s Cronies starts testing all those new viruses without the publics knowledge. You know, on the common folk and prisoners. That will make my ETF’s in the funeral home and crematories go up!

    Herschel is spot-on: when you’re fifty, there’s a whole lot of living left. Age 55, on the other hand, means it’s time to get your will in order and start shopping for cemetery plots.
