Montebello turned out to be a team to watch that can even take this tournament I watched them at the mountain view tournament going 6-1 and they put up a fight agains CV almost winning in the semifinals plus that defense picking up were they left of last year

El rancho will win one game all weekend. They looked horrible at Bonita. Mt View has a legit shot.

Big time homer. 7 on 7 chances are slim and none, real game would be a route.

Montebello vs Schurr in the Championship. Montebello wins in a preview what will happen in the regular season.

I saw Colony at The Pomona Tournament and they did look good. Pomona has a tall receiver and are good also. Good luck to all teams.

Call me a homer but Mountain View El Rancho is a toss up.
    In B, Agree
In C,I flip montebello and Burbank
    In D,NView Cantwell, DRanch RSMD
    In E,CV SEM,Bonita, BG
    In F,agree.
I like the way Arroyo and believe it or not South El Monte is playing. Arroyo is built for these things but SEM is a nice surprise. Frank Gallardo’s defense takes too many chances for my liking but at least they Aren’t in Hail Mary defense the whole time.
Mountain View I hear has a new D.C. And you can tell… kids are flying around out there.

Group C is probably the hardest to figure out top 2 teams. Good teams in that group

I’m saying Arroyo pulls the upset and wins it’s own tourney. Camacho looks better than ever. Couple kids are back in the fold. Receivers are tall and fast. Jukes Ocariz looks like he’s gonna have a huge year. Can you say “back to back “

    @get real
Actually you didn’t lose in the Quarterfinals to Cajon by 2, the little Schurr high team did. Just an opinion judging from what I saw don’t get offended by it man. Wish all teams the best of luck

Interesting how we judge a team at a tournament that took place back in April…New Offense/Defensive philosophies, guess we will see how it goes at the shootout for Colony. A little information on our boys from the IE: Airo 7 on 7 Tourney-lost to Cahon by 2 points in the Quarters, Rancho Cucamonga Tourney- lost to Amat in the Finals/ Pomona Tourney- lost to Heritage in the Semi-Finals! Stop judging you have not a clue about Colonies Athletes!

Colony has one tall receiver. Seen them at the airo 7 on 7 at Cal and they where not impressive as a team at all.

Colony should win this thing. They have by far the best athletes. An IE school against a bunch of smaller SGV schools isn’t really fair.

CV will win it all but it will be interesting to see what several teams, like Salesian, trot out for the new year.
