Big game next week to set the tone because after that we open with Montebello who doesn’t look as dominate as past years then an improving San Gabriel team followed by BG who is much improved.

We’re expecting a tougher test from South Pasadena. A victory over the Tigers would give us much-needed momentum going into Almont League play. That would be especially true if we play well against South Pasadena.
The emergence of a passing attack has given us a big boost. Our pass protection has gotten better, and Julien’s accuracy is improving.
Whether we can throw the ball well consistently will be a key to our season. An effective passing game will loosen up the opposing defenses for Salman and our other running backs.
Our defense has been pretty good against the run so far, but our secondary needs to improve its pass coverage. That’s one particular thing we need to fix, and soon.
