(Arcadia)—The Burbank Bulldogs rallied from a 14-3 deficit to defeat the Arcadia Apaches, 17-14, at Salter Stadium on the campus of Arcadia High School.

The physical contest was all Apaches early on. Andre Lewis put his team up 7-3 in the first half with a 4-yard run. Early on in the third Max Davila was on the receiving end of Rolandiss Whitener 39-yard scoring pass.

The Bulldogs went to work from here. Returning physical play for physical play and getting its ground game on track with Darnell Williams and Matt Porras. Williams scored on a short run to make it a 14-10 contest.

You managed to put down 3 football programs in 1 post…good job. I would not call Burroughs or Burbank teams down, they both put together very respectable games. I have not seen all this social media stuff you refer to, but Burbank and Arcadia fought hard until the end. No excuses from any of the players I know, they all played hard and came up short.

Simple answer to all your questions, Arcadia has never been any good and never will be. No matter who you “bring in”

Bottom line is that Arcadia was outcoached. 14 points with all those weapons on offense? Poor offensive play calling

I want to know where all the so called SWAG came from, you usually get SWAG after winning a CIF (not) maybe a LEAGUE (not). You barely beat a down Burroughs, you couldn’t beat a down Burbank. Whats the excuse now, bad refs, not enough TIME OUTS at the end of the game, or not the right dudes from everybody else’s cities. How about staying off of social media talking about its the payback tour. how about win some games that matter. Please don’t catch feelings, or I won’t call a time out and just watch the clock run down.
