If you have to recruit D13 Cantwell players who are not very good, than Schurr has to be desperate. Tells you a lot about Schurr’s program in general.

    @Sparta
You talk about your front 7. I’m curious the front 7 you talk about were’t most of those lineman at Cantwell last year. I guess real football is recruiting other schools player.

Hold your thoughts on Schurr boys. They may not have a lot of the “new bonafied transfers” as so many of you have noticed have showed up who weren’t there in spring. And it sounds about right. Couple coaches leave schools and kids get plucked from those to go to holls that have been decimated by graduation…especially at key positions….and in schurrs case almost every kid who started last year! Way to show loyalty to your own kids coach!!

Let me preface my comments first by saying I am not a Schurr booster or affiliated with the program.

I’ve seen the Spartans several times in lineman competitions and 7 on 7. My thoughts for what its worth.

OL – Not tall but they are wide and have some skill. Not fast but they block well,
WR’s – The guys I saw last weekend were not there in the spring. Average size but fast and have good hands. Lazy routes but if the QB can get the ball to them they will do well.
QB – The kid I saw was also not there in the spring. If he gets times to throw, watch out. He can throw.
RB – Did really pay attention to that position
DL – See my OL comments regarding speed and size. Needs work
LB/DB – They get to the back quick and aren’t afraid to mix it up.

Not sure how they will be come pads but they aren’t the sorry ass team all the haters think they are but they aren’t the next CIF champions that the honks think they are.

I think they go 8-2. Win the Almont and go out in the 2nd round because of the competition they will face.

Just my opinion guys, some fact, some speculation.

We have been exposed by two football experts using a 7on7 performance, which Schurr played for the ship, to evaluate our team. Thanks for your insight morons. Good to hear we have talent though. LOL

Go back to your cave troll. Hope the team you cheer for is on our schedule so our weak team can show you what real football looks like. And our front 7 is the strength of our team but what do you know.

Eagle Rock had half the talent than Schurr did. I know it only 7 on 7 but that game shouldn’t have been close. It’s not looking to good for them. They better have a great OL/DL.

Yes well done PH. Some of these tournaments get out of hand and this was not one of them. Snack shack was open and plenty of parking and fields. Keep it going.

Who cares, its 7on7. What matters is we are coming together nicely as is our line positions. Coaches have done a really good job with these kids and with only 3 returning starters that is no easy job. Go Spartans!

Schurr high was cheated with Schurr up and eagle rock with triple zero on the clock the game was suppose to end. To my surprise the ref and a pioneer associate or coach let eagle rock run another play and they scored.we got to keep these games clean kids deserve it go spartans.
