    @?
Don’t care where he is from. Don’t care who he lives with. Booth is really fun to watch play football.
He has done things on the football field I’ve never seen before. Probably the most amazing thing I’ve seen him do is score ALL 52 points against Rosemead last year. 52 would be hard to do playing basketball.
hope he keeps racking up the yards and points in all his remaining games except for one.

I think he is trying to point out that some stats are hinky. I give you that kid that played for Gladstone or Ganesha or maybe Mt. View last year that was touted on here as the, get this, not team, not league, not Division, not California, oh no, he was the NATIONAL rushing leader of 2018. Good luck kid.

At this point in the history of Pioneer football, where excuse-making seems to be the major game plan, ANYTHING that gives hope for improvement should be given a go. Father and son, aunt and uncle, recruits or rejects, out-of-state or on the border….anything that can make that cadaver rise from the slab should be welcomed.

Your news of National and State rankings of La Serna’s opponents is ridiculous.
This is high school football and you can’t even give a young man credit for his impressive early season stats. You fail to realise he hasn’t even played a complete game (three quarters at best with a running clock) He is a local Whittier kid doing good for the city and our football community. You need to stop hating and get a life.

Maybe we should go the Sierra Vista route at Pioneer. Hire a father and son combo that’s all about self promotion and bling. New uni’s, helmets, scheduling out of state games, and talking trash that they could give Amat a good game. 3 D1 starters already with 3 more waiting to be approved by CIF. They will triple their total 2018 attendance with just tonite’s game. Go get’em Sierra Vista, you’ve been kicked around long enough.

Isn’t it a little early to talk about The true freshman at USC. I’m a fan of SC, but let’s wait a little to praise him.

Before we get too excited about La Serna’s passing success in the first three outings, let me inform readers of the records and national/state rankings of the Lancers’ opponents: Murrieta Mesa is 0-3 with a national ranking of 4256, state 284…..Eisenhower is off to a 1-3 start, with national/state numbers of 2946 and 218. Then there’s Arcadia, the third of this merry threesome, sitting at 0-2 with national/state rankings of 3022/220.
Contrast this with La Serna’s national and state ranking of 502-50 and what do we have? We have a classic case of taking candy from a baby. To say that the Whittier club has not yet been tested is the understatement of the century. Those passing yards couldn’t have come easier if they had been thrown in practice—with no defense present.
I’ll give Tim–or whoever compiled this ‘ten’—the benefit of the doubt, and say that surely #9 was penned from a standpoint of ignorance concerning HOW those stats came to be.
