1. The Rams fell to the San Francisco 49ers 34-31 Saturday night and were officially eliminated from the playoffs.

2. Garfield quarterback Jonathan Bautista has transferred to Sierra Vista.

3. Azusa Pacific DC Cesar Rivas-Sandoval has left the school to take over as head coach at Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida.

4. Former Dodger left-hander Hyun-Jin Ryu signed a four-year, $80 million contract with the Toronto Blue Jays.

5. Azusa Pacific beat Point Loma 79-62 Saturday to improve to 9-3 overall and 4-2 in the PacWest Conference.

6. “You never envision something like this when you start the year. It’s not even close to the standard we want to hold. It’s sickening.” – Rams quarterback Jared Goff.

7. The Chargers had only 19 yards rushing in a 24-17 loss to the Oakland Raiders Sunday.

8. The New England Patriots beat the Buffalo Bills 24-17 Satuday to clinch the AFC East.

9. The Chicago White Sox signed left-hander Dallas Keuchel for three years, $55.5 million.

10. Kent State beat Utah State 51-41 Friday night for its first ever bowl victory in the Tropical Smoothie Cafe Frisco Bowl.

    You either never saw the kid play or are just trolling. He has size,speed, an arm and likes to run. All he needs is receivers. He will be the top QB in league and more.

    The Rams are out of the playoffs, and the Chargers have only 19 yards rushing against Oakland. Yep, time to put all your money on the Pioneer Titans.
