Man I hope this ebola drug Rendisiver keeps working. It’s working in Chicago when given to the sickest patients. Keeping fingers, toes and ankles crossed.

#4 – Good for him, and I hope it works out. Whether the G-League or the NCAA is better preparation for the NBA remains to be seen. However, while people often tout the supposed benefits of college (which can indeed be considerable), the typical one-and-done player who is just putting in his time is not particularly well-served by doing just enough in the fall semester to be eligible for his only spring semester. For a guy like that, if formal education has any value, he will have the opportunity to pay for it out of pocket when he can properly take advantage of it. If he doesn’t care about it, it’s just a waste of everyone’s time.

The thing we cherish these days, the world-wide web, is responsible for the destruction of all printed media, recorded music and video, most brick-and-mortar stores, and—coming soon—the schools. As the current crisis has shown, there is no reason education cannot be done online. The K-12 experience is now being exposed as a primarily babysitting function, which could obviously be purchased from lower-cost providers.
When we add it all up, the economic hurt from this digitizing is comparable to what the coronavirus brings, albeit in very different ways.
