- UCLA beat Arizona 27-10 at the Rose Bowl Saturday to improve to 2-2 on the year. Demetric Felton ran for 206 yards and Buena Park’s Elijah Gates had a late interception to seal it.
- Mike Tyson and Roy Jones Jr. fought to an eight-round draw Saturday night in an exhibition at Staples Center.
- The Chargers lost to the Buffalo Bills 27-17 Sunday to drop to 3-8 on the year.
- The Rams fell to the San Francisco 49ers 23-20 Sunday and dropped to 7-4 on the year.
- Happy Birthday to former Dodgers announcer, the legendary Vin Scully, who turned 93 on Sunday.
- Santa Clara County officials say that no pro or college sports teams are able to have games or practices in the county that include direct contact for the next three weeks. That includes the 49ers who have two home games (December 7 and 13) scheduled in that window.
- The Jacksonville Jaguars fired GM Dave Caldwell after a 27-25 loss to the Cleveland Browns Sunday. It was the Jaguars 10th straight loss.
- Vanderbilt’s Sarah Fuller became the first woman to play in a Power 5 college football game Saturday when she kicked off for the Commodores to open the game.
- Buffalo’s Jarret Patterson ran for 409 yards and 8 touchdowns in a 70-41 win over Kent State Saturday. 409 yards rushing in a game was the second most in FBS history while the 8 TDs tied an FBS record.
USC football had Marv Goux, and UCLA men’s basketball coach John Wooden had a “philanthropist” named Sam Gilbert helping his program in the 1960’s and early ’70’s.
I’ve always liked Wooden’s “Pyramid of Success,” though. I believe those principles really work.
It’s too bad that there was some shadiness later in his coaching career.

I forgot to mention Mike Garret and Cheat Carroll. Garret ran a program with corruption and didn’t care about The rules. He let Cheat Carrol run a wild program. Reggie Bush and Ryan Mcknight’s Car’s were parked below Cheat Carrol’s office. He said he did not know who’s cars they belonged to. What a Joke. USC is the most corrupt program of all time. Cheat On.
To Rams Fan, The University of Spoiled Corruption have been cheating since 1880. From The USC’s President all The way down for decades , USC is known for Athlete’s taking Phony Classes and not even attending a Classroon at all. Just ask Anthony Davis, Keyshawn Johnson , OJ Simpson and The other 50,000 Athlete’s that attended USC. Marv Goux funneled SC Alumni Money to Football players and Families so thier Son’s and Daughters would attend Suc University. I know all This is Because I Played Football at SUC and I saw all this first hand. Marv Goux made John Mckay succeed at SC. Just ask Laurie Loughlan and all The Chinese that pay a Million Dollars each to get into SC. It’s all about money at SC win at all costs. Cheat On.

If you don’t like to read the arguing about sports why are you commenting on a sports website/blog? Seems kinda stupid. As far as an asterisk on this seasons Championships, my question would be did we put asterisks on any other season that was shortened? Like 1981 baseball season, when the players had a major labor strike. I think more games were cancelled in that year than this year, 713. As far as Tyson-Jones, that was an exhibition which means nothing. But again, as Mr. Peterson keeps reminding us “clowns” this is a sports website and blog. So if you have something to contribute have at it.
What are you clowns arguing about. All sports including Lakers, Dodgers supposed world titles have a big fat * . Short seasons, players opting out and sick, college games too messed up to even care about USC UCLA are you serious. What’s next are you going to argue about the Tyson-Jones fight or the corn-hole championships.?

Undefeated? lol The reference to “the cheaters USC “is laughable what with the recent UCLA womans soccer scandal, Another one I didn’t even remember hearing about is “Operation Toefl Recall” a huge cheating scandal that UCLA did their best to sweep under the carpet. Ucla is turning The corner under Chip Kelly. They look solid on both sides of The ball. UCLA should be undefeated this season. I think they could beat The Cheaters USC this year.

@ #5: Jared Goff committed three turnovers and the Rams couldn’t sustain a drive late in the fourth quarter. The team which had the ball last—the 49ers—won the game on a field goal as time expired.
@ #7: The 49ers could end up playing those December home games out-of-state, possibly in Arizona. The Santa Clara County public health order also affects Stanford University in the Pac-12.
