  2. AFC Results: Buffalo 27 Indianapolis 24, Baltimore 20 Tennessee 13, Cleveland 48 Pittsburgh 37. 
  3. Charlotte Hornets guard LaMelo Ball, 19, became the youngest player in NBA history to record a triple-double with 22 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists in a 113-105 win over the Atlanta Hawks Saturday night. 
  4. #1 Alabama vs. #3 Ohio State, Monday night 5:00 p.m., National  Championship game, Hard Rock Stadium, Miami.

  6. The Lakers beat the Houston Rockets 120-102 Sunday to improve to 8-3 on the season. 
  7. Brooklyn Nets guard Kyrie Irving has missed the last three games due to personal reasons. 
  8.  Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh has reached an agreement on a contract extension to stay with the Wolverines through the 2025 season. 
  9. The Washington Nationals signed former Chicago Cub outfielder Kyle Schwarber to a one-year, $10 million deal. 
  10. On this date in 1970 the Kansas City Chiefs beat the Minnesota Vikings 23-7 in Super Bowl IV at Tulane Stadium in New Orleans. Kansas City quarterback Len Dawson was named  MVP.

    @ NWO: I like the name. The Rams’ defenders rally to the ball and mob the ballcarrier.
    Of course, that moniker is a takeoff on “The Mod Squad.” I remember the TV series, so that dates me.

    Rams better practice in one of those super huge freezers where they store vaccines. High temp at Lambeau field Saturday is going to be in the 20’s. If Goff had problems completing a pass in perfect conditions Green Bay will be a nightmare. If Wolford’s stinger is not to serious I start him. The Rams also have to activate Bortles and probably will de-activate a DB. When you have a defense like the Rams you always have the punchers chance. This defense needs a name. You know. Like The Fearsome Foursome, The Steel Curtain, The No Name Defense, The Killer B’s, The Purple Gang etc.
