  1. Ganesha beat Pomona for the first time in 43 years last Friday night with a 48-34 victory. Ganesha snapped a 17 game losing streak to Pomona dating back to 1978. The teams did not play from between 1982 and 2001. 
  2. Three other teams had to cancel games to set up the El Rancho-Covina game this Friday night at Covina District Field. 
  3. Covina Freshman Quarterback Jake Duronslet is 22 of 34 for 435 yards and six touchdowns in two games.
  4. The Las Vegas Raiders beat the Baltimore Ravens 33-27 in overtime on the first Monday Night Football game of the season. 
  5. The New Orleans Saints have had eight members of the organization test positive for COVID-19. The total includes six offensive coaches, one player and a nutritionist. 
  6. NBA players will not be mandated to get the COVID-19 vaccine league sources said. 
  7. Ryan Braun, the franchise home run king for the Milwaukee Brewers and 2011 National League MVP, announced his retirement Tuesday.

    Umm…….. All these beings that feel one must be in 1st in order to validate their lives are chasing their tails. Blessings to all the teams that do not win on points but win in life by learning to help other people without receiving payment. So without losers where would the winners be? Without winners the losers would still be fine. Umm……….
