  1. College Football Playoff Final Four: 1. Alabama 2. Michigan 3. Georgia 4. Cincinnati.
  2. Bryce Young threw for 421 yards and 3 touchdowns to lead Alabama to a 41-24 win over Georgia Saturday to propel the Crimson Tide to the number one seed. 
  3. The Chargers beat the Cincinnati Bengals 41-22 Sunday to improve to 7-5 on the year. 
  4. The Rams routed the Jacksonville Jaguars 37-7 Sunday to improve to 8-4 and snap a 3 game losing streak. 
  5. USC finished the season at 4-8 with a 24-14 loss to Cal Saturday night. 
  6. Northview will play Sacred Heart Cathedral in the D-4 State championship game Saturday night in Kezar Stadium in San Francisco. 
  7. The La Puente head football coaching position is open. The administration told previous HC Martin Soto that the position had to be flown yearly to allow a chance for certificated staff to apply. They said he could reapply but no guarantees. Opening is listed on the CIFSS website.
  8. Clemson DC Brent Venables has agreed to be come the new head coach at Oklahoma to replace Lincoln Riley. 
  9. Oregon head coach Mario Cristobal is in negotiations to become the new head football coach at Miami. 
  10. UCLA will face North Carolina State in the Holiday Bowl at Petco Park in San Diego on December 28th.
