1. Former Pasadena star/ Cal State Northridge guard Darius Brown II has entered the transfer portal.

2. Quarterback Hype Grand, who had transferred to La Habra from Pasadena and was originally at Glendora, has now transferred to West Covina. 

3. Warren High School will celebrate the life of Jaylon Connish Friday night at 6:00 p.m. in Justice Stadium. Connish, a football player, was killed in a car accident last weekend. 

4. MLB and the MLB Players’ Association reached a new collective bargaining agreement Thursday afternoon. Spring Training will start March 17 and Opening Day is set for April 7. 

5. The Chargers and the Chicago Bears are finalizing a deal that will send Pro Bowl defensive end Khalil Mack to the Chargers for a 2022 second round pick and a 2023 sixth round pick. 

6. Former MLB/ Dodgers pitcher Odalis Perez, 44, died after an accident at his home in the Dominican Republic Thursday night.   

7. “I didn’t think we could hit a new low but we hit a new low tonight.” -James Worthy after the Lakers lost to the Houston Rockets 139-130 in overtime Wednesday night. 

8. USC Basketball coach Andy Enfield signed a contract extension through the 2027-’28 season.

    #2 4th high school in how many years? Sounds like he and dad are listening to the hype. Or maybe it’s just about the education.
