Winning Time is portraying all these basketball owners as a bunch of slimy, greedy, racist sex perverts. Sounds about right.

It’s ironic that we were talking about Frank McCourt. The L.A. Times on Sunday ran an entire spread on McCourt’s idea, which is currently being supported by the MTA, to build an aerial tram connecting Dodger Stadium with Union Station.
We’ll see how that works out. I don’t care for aerial trams myself, but any good plan to reduce traffic congestion around the stadium is worth a try. I’m not sure whether this is a good plan, though.

@ Four: Just to clarify, the Dodger Stadium parking lots and the adjacent real estate constitute a 50/50 deal. Frank McCourt has 50% ownership, and the Guggenheim partners, who have owned the Dodgers since 2012, control the other half.
Both parties have to reach a consensus as to what happens on those properties. McCourt does receive much of the parking revenue, if not all.

The only thing guaranteed with the Dodgers is that Frank McCourt gets to live like Hunter Biden, because he arranged years ago to own the parking lot.
