Darius Brown II is transferring to Montana State

(Pasadena) – Former Pasadena star guard Darius Brown II has transferred to Montana St. he confirmed on Twitter Tuesday.

Brown spent his first three years at Cal State Northridge and then was injured in December of this season and took a medical redshirt. He has two years of eligibility remaining due to COVID-19 and the redshirt season.

In the 2020 -’21 season Brown II averaged 10.5 points and 5.3 assists per game in 22 games which were his best numbers at CSUN.

“It’s a top notch program on the way up and Coach Danny Sprinkle is as real as they come,” said Brown’s father Darius Brown of Montana State. “He (Brown II) is ready to win and go to the dance.”

    Surprised he didnt transfer last season with the coaching change, but this will be a good spot for him to make an impact with a winning program.
