  1. The Angels fired manager Joe Maddon Tuesday and named Phil Nevin interim manager. The Angels, 27-29, have lost 12 straight. 
  2. The LA Sparks fired head coach and general manager Derek Fisher Tuesday. The Sparks are 5-7 through the first 12 games. 
  3. The Lakers have hired Rasheed Wallace as an assistant coach. 
  4. Longtime NFL assistant and head coach Romeo Crennel announced his retirement after 50 years of coaching football. 
  5. Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson reportedly booked massage appointments with 66 women over 17 months from fall 2019 through spring 2021. 
  6. The Colorado Avalanche advanced to Stanley Cup Finals with a 6-5 overtime win over the Edmonton Oilers Monday night. The Avalanche swept the Oilers in four games in the Western Conference Finals. 
  7.   On this day in 1955 the Dodgers optioned pitcher Tommy Lasorda to make room on the roster for another pitcher- Sandy Koufax.  
  8. Also on this day in 1982 the Lakers beat the Philadelphia 76ers 114-104 to win the NBA title in six games. Magic Johnson was named series MVP. 
  9. The Rams signed defensive end Aaron Donald to a three-year. $95 million contract.
  10. “In life winning and losing will both happen. What is never acceptable is quitting.” – Magic Johnson.

    We must clarify that Watson was merely redeeming gift coupons given to him by Patriots owner Bob Kraft.
