Ok Ty Cobb! Biggest racist ballplayer out there! A known dirty player who spiked other ballplayers! Everybody in the baseball hall of fame is not a boy scout!

No it is the baseball Hall of fame. Character plays a big part, if you haven’t figured that out by now you have problems. It is what’s best for baseball Genius.

@#4: Being a nice guy with a good PR gets you along way. Then again you have the pompous LS fans that even if they won something they would be booed like the Astros.

    Now you know
Ortiz took steroids before they were banned. So he was never guilty of using a banned substance.

If Bonds and Clements weren’t such jerks maybe they too would be in the Hall. When Bonds was at ASU he would come late to BP and was a jerk there. The thing is he would have been in the Hall if he did not take PED, he was that good. I don’t know about the other PED guys, maybe Big Mac.

    Life , even
Sporting life is defined by narrative. The predominant narrative on Ortiz is that Big Papi is a great guy #dontdisagree

Barkley being a commentator on golf? That’s like Trump getting a job as a polygraph operator.

#4 How does Ortiz escape the steroid’s scandal and make it into the HOF when so many others haven’t? Bonds, Sosa, ARod etc etc etc.
