@ SG Green: What’s up, man? If you’re asking about me, well yeah, I’m still around. I’m looking forward to a good school year and a full season of high school football. I hope we can make those things happen.

The coaching stipends are deplorable but there’s still a lot of people who would and could do a better job of given the opportunity
Administrative protocol is to recycle friendly acquaintance and do same old same old

Equity and inclusion holds as much weight in the hiring process as coaching skills as it should. Need more black HCs in this valley. AmIRite??

Don’t get me wrong, I know Laron… I have been coached by and against him. The man has a lot to prove, but with the current situation of CA public school coaching salary and accommodations being what they are. I applaud anybody that still commits to the game. Anybody not supportive of such actions should either go coach or reconsider the status of coaching in Cali.

With that being said, best of luck Laron! I still remember the friendly banter from your days as an SG narc.

    What happened to Ron btw?

Matt has burned to many bridges. His social media presence frightens the folks that hire in the public sphere. His best chance is at a private that does not care about law suits and such because they don’t have a school board and politics to worry about.

Who is the AD at La Puente. First, they go after the old Bassett coach Soto and hire him away from Bassett which he didn’t do anything now they go after this guy. Is it just me or does he know what he is doing? I don’t get it.

Bosco and Mater Dei are trying to change their schedules to include La Puente in the preseason. The feeling is that if they don’t play these guys, then a potential national championship won’t be legit.
