  1. Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady is expected to return to the team Monday after being away from the team since early this month for personal reasons. 
  2. St. Louis Cardinals slugger Albert Pujols hit two home runs Saturday boosting his total to 692. He moved past Stan Musial and into second place on the career list for total bases. 
  3. The New York Yankees have lost 14 of their last 18 games but are still 8 games ahead of the Tampa Bay Rays and the Toronto Blue Jays in the AL East. 
  4. The Rams lost to the Houston Texans 24-20 Friday night in a preseason game at SoFi Stadium. 
  5. Carolina Panthers rookie quarterback Matt Corral could miss the entire season with a Lisfranc ligament tear. 
  6. There were 10 turnovers combined in the game between La Serna and Pasadena Friday night. La Serna had six but won the game 15-14. 
  7. The Rams top draft pick, right guard Logan Bruss, is out for the season after tearing his ACL and MCL Friday night. 
  8. Transfer Quinn Ewers has been named the starting quarterback at Texas. 
  9. Charter Oak at Northview, Thursday night, 7:00 p.m. (Covina District Field). 
  10. Urban Meyer is returning to Fox’s college football pregame show this season after being fired last season as the Jacksonville Jaguars after 13 games.
