Lmao….this made my day. It’s been a while….let it go…Matt is happy where he’s at. Diamond Bar is happy to have him. Seriously tho, who are you and why do you care so much about me? I’m still laughing and wondering if I can actually call a game?

From my understanding coach Brown is at Bishop Amat and recruited kids from LA.

Forget about kids leaving La Mirada for Los Alamitos. Or kids leaving Los Altos for Bishop Amat…. We need to talk about the real recruiting scandal here; kids leaving Bassett for El Monte!!!

Yup week one kids were sent back to Bassett for not being released from BHS and complaints from admin about coach following. Mt V could be their only W of the season if that.

A little structure goes a long way when you’re playing disorganized and inexperienced……feel sorry for the administratively neglected Keppel squad. They will be mercied in every game

@Rams FAN True Temple city has not scored 54 points combined in the last two years…true Mark Keppel is bad…and maybe TC has improved…they executed an offense, passing for 300yds plus and 2ooyds rushing…the didn’t score on broken plays…they didn’t turn the ball over…made some first game mistakes…they weren’t perfect, but I saw a team that ran an a legit offense and defense… maybe not a powerhouse, but they beat a bad team the way you are supposed to beat a bad team…and played everybody…I think there’s something to build on…I say Congrats TC!!! Job well done!
    Next week vs. Alhambra

Keppel hasn’t won a varsity league football game since 1998 and are often 0-10. Many schools schedule their homecoming games against poor Keppel.

It was not 16-0, it was 8-0, 8-6 then 16-8 then ER scored 5 unanswered touchdowns and emptied the bench when it was 42-16 with a quarter to play. BG has been playing ER tough in the 1st quarter the last 3 times they’ve played. Monrovia is definitely favored, ER has a very tough matchup Friday no doubt about it.

Lol… No biggie, PX is a +21 on Calpreps. Just in case you didn’t know, that means they’re pretty good.

UHOH! Del Rio league teams struggling. La Serna doing what they do but one chink is QB play. El Rancho winning but was down 16-0 early on against….Bell Gardens? Whittier and Cal were both humiliated by weak teams and Santa Fe has morphed into irrelevancy. One big game in the Del Rio, El Rancho 2-0 vs. Monrovia 2-0. Monrovia loaded with playmakers and lightning speed. Clobbered vaunted Glendora last night. ER has no chance other than trying to keep it close in front of the home town crowd. La Serna plays Los Osos, the only soft team on their non-league schedule.
From T. Peterson: Actually Monrovia clobbered Arcadia last night who is not so vaunted. But the Wildcats did play well. Pasadena beat Glendora.

I don’t think Temple City has scored 54 points total in the last 2 years. Is Keppel that bad? TC is no powerhouse but come on 54? Hand writing is on the wall. For the safety of the kids some schools should drop football and concentrate on tennis and basketball.

Turns out the shutout Northview put on Muir last week was no biggie. Muir shut out again 35-0 against PX. Open up the archives Peterson to see when was the last time Muir got shut out back to back.

The Warren-La Serna meeting was one of this week’s best. On paper, the game should have been lopsided in favor of the Bears, but true to form, La Serna never quit….the Lancers were inside Warren’s 20 with under a minute left, knocking on the door of the game winning touchdown.

The Charter Oak win was noteworthy because Northview shutout a usually offensive powerhouse in Muir last week. Charter Oak putting up 38 against a fine defensive team means watch out for CO. San Dimas 7 points against Lakewood? C’mon pass the ball Holman! Norwalk has some game this year. At least Santa Fe is in the game. Sierra Vista can run but losing to Ontario? No bueno super coach.
