Montebello has it work cut out for them against the Ranch this Friday. Should be a good game. El Rancho is down and Monkeybello is so so. I hope coach Pete gets his first victory vs the Pico boys since he started with the Oilers. This game will say a lot about what each teams future looks like.

Very many suspicious scores. Upsets and lop-sided wins and losses. The cif re-ranking teams after season makes it highly beneficial to have some losses and some of them out right whippings..

San Gabriel has had a consistent coach and we will get to see a team that has been coached up by the same program since Freshman year. Really interested in their first league game with Schurr

Monrovia has fier power galore. 3rd and 30 is like 2nd and 1 for them. That said if they give Ayala a game next week it will be both good and bad. Because they will not have anything like a test until the playoffs 10-0 or 9-1 will get them a D4 1st round monster. A D7 or D8 gives them a ring. Lose to San Dimas. Bench your starters. Take a dive. Win Win.

Very shocked to see Bonita lost. Trouble going on with the Bearcats. Little Andrade having a hard time replacing the big shoes that were filled by big brother JP…. I also wonder with that kind of performance against a much less talented team, Did Bonita throw the game on purpose to get dropped in divisions????

Northview should move up in the rankings. Bishop still on top at #1. La Serna deserves the 2 spot . With Pasadena and Charter Oak battling 3 and 4. Bonita and Glendora should move out of top ten. BP deserves to be in top ten now. But we will see what the writers think.

When you hear that St Paul lost big, you assume it was to Mater Dei or Servite, not to a group called Pius X. This has to be the lowest point ever reached by the Swordsmen program, which thoroughly justifies the vitriol of my fellow commenters. Not to dwell entirely on the negative, let’s all raise our glasses to Keppel, scorer of eight whole points against powerhouse Duarte. If something this amazing can happen in our time and place, perhaps Biden is right when he says things have never been better.

Wow, St Paul blown out? Shocker! I didn’t see that coming. QB overhyped or St Pius is the real deal? Probably both.

We need to get rid of Zepeda. How in the world did they lose to P10? It’s like losing to Whittier Christian. The glory days are long gone. We need to reset the whole program. The dude hasn’t won anything in 10 years. Time to get rid of him.
