Here’s wishing Valley Christian a lot of luck in their attempt to win a CIF title with a .500 record. Failing that, they’ll still get that runner-up plaque to honor a solid 6-8 finish. And also, best of luck to Bruce Rollinson; not with the game, but in getting out of the Rose Bowl without answering any personal questions.

Big Lou and Coach Gano had at each other many times. Some great CO vs LA games and a few CIF finals. Great memories. Sorry to hear of his passing.
