Typically coaches announcing that they are leaving football does not happen until the new year. So far about 40 coaches have left in the socal area through November with only one school that has a new coach ready to take over. Either this is just an abberation or something is boiling in local high school football. About 70 schools on average need a new football HC every year in socal area. We are already past the halfway point of the average number of coaches quitting and schools are still playing football. Did the retiring CIF CEO know something?
