Not sure if Upland High qualifies as a ‘covered’ school on this site, but it’s newsworthy to report that the Highlanders just won a CIF title in division 2 boys volleyball. What makes this so impressive is that after winning the title last year in division 3, they lost several all-CIF players and were moved up. Going into the playoffs, the coaches poll didn’t even place them in the top ten, but now they’re champs in the higher grouping.
