  1. The Vegas Golden Knights beat the Florida Panthers 3-2 Saturday night to take a 3-1 lead in the Stanley Cup Finals. 
  2. The Denver Nuggets beat the Miami Heat 108-95 Friday night to take a 3-1 lead in the NBA Finals. Game 5 is Monday night in Denver. 
  3. Former Montebello OC Pete Gonzaez Jr. has been named the Offensive Coordinator at West LA College. 
  4. Don Lugo WR/DB Gavin Hrynezuk scored 18 touchdowns Saturday in the Chino Hills Tournament. 
  5. The Dodgers lost to Philadelphia 7-3 Sunday as the Phillies took two out of three in the series. The Dodgers are 37-29, 3.5 games behind the first place Arizona Diamondbacks in the NL West. 
  6. Pittsburgh’s Andrew McCutchen recorded his 2000th career hit Sunday as the Pirates beat the New York Mets 2-1. 
  7. Arcangelo (7-1) won the Belmont Stakes Saturday.  
  8. On this date in 1981 Larry Holmes TKOs Leon Spinks in the third round to win the WBC heavyweight boxing title.  
  9. Also on this date in 1991 the Chicago Bulls beat the Lakers 108-101 in Game 5 to win the first of their three straight NBA titles. Michael Jordan was named Finals MVP.

    @4: When Yogi was asked about a pitcher that threw a one -hitter against against the Dodgers the night before by the Cubs he asked the reporter “who got the hit”?….. Who was the QB?
