Dude you’re completely correct! I read Podley vs Z & I thought of Bogan for some reason. That’s why I mentioned Podley -Medrano nxt. Podley vs Z was awesome.
side note I’m an old LA guy, DeSpain era. That was a great rivalry. Too bag it hasn’t been for a long time.
    for a long time .

dude you’re completely right, I read Podley & thought Bogan. Podley vs Z was awesome. That’s why I mentioned Podley. Medrano vs Z was good but got a lil personal at the end.

as far as La vs Wilson, i’m an old La guy. DeSpain era. used to be good.

    @ Lupe,

not sure what you’re talking about. Podley and Zernickow was probably the longest standing Smudgepot era which I think lasted from 2004-2011 (I could be wrong). Podley dominated it, then Zernickow dominated it, and then Podley ended his career dominating it. The rivalry was pretty fierce at that time especially after Medrano left San Dimas to be an assistant with Podley. Then it extended a bit more when San Dimas successfully challenged Jake Payton’s transfer to Upland only for him to end up at Bonita.

@?, I wouldn’t call it anything like Los Altos and Wilson even if Bonita has won it more often recently. Wilson is a cellar dweller. San Dimas is a strong program with a strong culture that makes playoff runs year in and year out.

no offense but that never happened. maybe you’re thinking of the Z vs Medrano or Podley era. This is Bogan’s 5 th smudgepot.

The Podley vs Zernickow era was the best Smudgepot era

You gotta love these cross-town rivalries, and best of luck to SD, but for my money, I’m taking Bogan’s heroes all the way.
