  1. UCLA beat Hawaii 16-13 Saturday to open the College Football season. 
  2. Florida State is now 0-2 after a 28-13 loss to Boston College Monday night. 
  3. San Francisco 49ers rookie receiver Ricky Pearsall will miss at least four games after being shot in the chest during a robbery attempt in San Francisco Saturday. 
  4. The Dodgers beat the Arizona Diamondbacks 11-6 Monday and won three out of four in the series. 
  5. The Clippers signed center Ivica Zubic to a three-year $58.6 million extension Friday.
  6. Cincinnati Bengals receiver Ja’Marr Chase’s availability is still uncertain for the season opener as he awaits the status of a contract extension. 
  7. Damien at St. Paul, Friday night, 7:00 p.m. 
  8. Northview has outscored its first two opponents 69-0. 
  9. Former Nebraska head coach Scott Frost has joined the Rams coaching staff. 
  10. Former Glendora star Decker DeGraaf had a 33-yard touchdown catch for Washington Saturday in a 35-3 win over Weber State. Former Charter Oak quarterback Richie Munoz got the start for Weber State and completed 11 of 32 for 98 yards.
