Congrats to Canada…they needed it.

However, I have to admit I was really disappointed by the first nine seconds—I was expecting so much more.

I’ve said it before, I’m a casual hockey fan during the NHL regular season, but nothing is better than USA versus Canada—except USA versus the Soviets.

Loved the mashing of the Herb Brooks speech in “Miracle” with the USA hockey team last night….and the way it immediately cuts to them brawling with the canucks—it was beautiful.

Bringing Wayne Gretzky out as an honorary captain for Canada wasn’t a surprise…And it was a perfect move by the USA to make Mike Eruzione its honorary captain.

Loved the national anthem and the crowd singing…and the next time some scumbag elitist tries to shut you down for patriotism, send him to Brittain.

Did you see Dodger pitcher Bobby Miller get Herb Score’d yesterday against the Cubs? If that dude didn’t believe in God before, he does now.

Something no one is talking about, but I’m getting a lot of positive responses to…is the suggestion that the Rams trade Kyren Williams now—while his value is high—and take another running back in this year’s draft.

The Rams already have Blake Corum in house and its a deep draft for RBs.

Would you do it?

Dallas Cowboys guard Zack Martin retires. Yes, he’s been fading, but a fading Zack Martin is better than anything Dallas has to replace him.

By the way…did you know…Dak Prescott’s cap hit in 2025 is 89.8-Rocks. Prescott is 32% of the Cowboys salary cap. CeeDee Lamb is 12%…and they haven’t extended Micah Parsons yet.

For a Dallas fan, this must be their worst time ever…how marvelous!

I think it’s smart for the Angels to move Mike Trout from center to right…but it also feels like a confirmation of Trout’s diminishment as a player.

ESPN’s association with MLB will end at the conclusion of the 2025 season. 

So what’s the draw to keep watching ESPN? Is Monday Night Football enough? The NBA is horrible, and college basketball is over-saturated. 

Yes, I will watch football, but the network does continue to lose relevance.
