1. The UCLA Women’s basketball team beat USC 72-67 Sunday to win the Big Ten championship. It was the first time UCLA beat USC this season in three games.  
2. The Cleveland Browns signed defensive end Myles Garret to a four-year, $123.5 million extension which makes him the highest paid non-quarterback in NFL history. 
3. The Seattie Seahawks are trading receiver DK Metcalf to the Pittsburgh Steelers who are then signing him to a five-year, $150 million extension. 
4. The Las Vegas Raiders acquired quarterback Geno Smith from the Seattle Seahawks for a third-round draft pick. 
5. The Buffalo Bills released pass rusher Von Miller Sunday to free up $8.4 million in cap space. The Bills then signed quarterback Josh Allen to a six-year, $330 million contract. Allen, who was signed through the 2028 season, is now extended through the 2030 season.
6. LeBron James is expected to be out one to two weeks with a groin strain suffered in the Lakers loss to the Boston Celtics Saturday night. 
7. Art Schallock, who had been the oldest living former major leaguer, passed away last Thursday at the age of 100. Schallock, a left-handed pitcher, played for the New York Yankees and Baltimore Orioles from 1951-1955.  
8. North Carolina State fired head basketball coach Kevin Keatts after eight seasons. Keatts led the Wolfpack to the Final Four last year. 
9. The Rams have signed Davante Adams to a two-year, $46 million deal.  
10. After a 58-49 loss to Palisades on December 28 Maranatha had a record of 4-12. Now the Minutemen are headed to the CIF State Regional Finals after a win over Mira Mesa Saturday night. “Everybody thought we were done. They were throwing dirt on us,” said Maranatha head coach Tim Tucker after the win over Mira Mesa.
