After two weeks, NFL teams are surprising fans and pundits alike.
The Chargers are 2-0, the Chiefs are 0-2, and the defending Super Bowl champions look mortal while undefeated.
Week 2 started in Wisconsin:
Green Bay 27 (2-0) Washington 18 (1-1)
Packers quarterback Jordan Love had another error-free outing, throwing for 292 yards and two touchdowns, as Green Bay was never threatened.
As Love’s top target, tight end Tucker Kraft had 124 yards and a touchdown to lead the Packers.
The Commanders lost running back Austin Ekeler to the injured list with a ruptured achilles while quarterback Jayden Daniels spent the game holding onto the ball too long.
Either the Packers defensive backs are blanket coverage studs or Daniels is having checkdown issues.
LA Rams 33 (2-0) Tennessee 19 (0-2)
The Rams overcame two early stalls in the red zone, to pull away from the Titans in the second half, and take the win.
Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford led an efficient offense with 298 yards passing and 2 touchdowns with an interception with wide receivers Puka Nacua and Davante Adams shining.
Nacua had a 45-yard touchdown run to go with 91 receiving yards while L.A. newcomer Adams made fans forget Cooper Kupp for a day, with 6 catches for 106 yards and a touchdown of his own.
Rams linebacker Byron Young is looking like an All-Pro, recording sacks 2+3, a strip sack, two quarterback hits, and two tackles-for-loss to anchor a tough defense.
Detroit 52 (1-1) Chicago 21 (0-2)
The Lions looked like the 15-2 team of a year ago, compiling 511 yards of total offense, and totally demolishing the Bears.
Lions quarterback Jared Goff threw for 334 yards and five touchdowns of which 9 passes went to Amon-Ra St. Brown.
Brown scored three touchdowns along with his 115 yards receiving.
The running back duo of Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery combined for 151 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns to even out the offensive outburst.
Bears second- year man Rome Odunze had an outstanding day with 7 receptions for 128 yards and 2 touchdowns in the loss.

Game of the Week:
Dallas 40 (1-1) New York Giants 37 (0-2)
In the game of the week, Giants quarterback Russell Wilson did everything to get the win for New York, throwing for 450 yards and 3 scores only to toss an interception in overtime to lose the game.
The lead changed hands five times in the fourth quarter, as the “Dallas Prevent Defense” only prevented the Cowboys from putting the game away in regulation.
Dallas quarterback Prescott had 361 yards with 2 touchdowns and an interception to lead the Cowboys back time after time; with CeeDee Lamb catching 9-of-11 targets for 112 yards to bounce back from his drop happy opening game.
It cannot be overstated, the steel ones of Brandon Aubrey, who hit a 64-yard field goal to tie in regulation and the 46-yard winner in overtime.
Sidenote: Dallas signed pass rusher Jadaveon Clowney to a 1-year, $3.5 million contract.
Philadelphia 21 (2-0) Kansas City17 (0-2)
A polar opposite for the Super Bowl rematch, as both teams played uninspiring football.
The defensive battle limited Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts to just 101 yards passing and running back Saquon Barkley to 88 yards and a score but it was enough to defeat the unarmed Chiefs.
Chiefs leader Patrick Mahomes played another game with no visible running game, other than himself, and were pedestrian by Kansas City standards.
It had been since 2014 that the Chiefs/Reid/Mahomes trifecta had lost two games in a row, also to start the season.
