eFFFFF the cheating Irish and their Refs
    eFFFFF USC’s soft run defense
eFFFFFF Lincoln Riley’s stupid trick play and both 4th down play calls.
eFFFFFFF USC’s special teams coach …..oh wait (hold on….ND) they don’t have one.

Even with all the BS ref shenanigans over the years, and even with the 13 year winless drought, the SC-ND rivalry since has been an even match up going back to 1967. Both teams entered this game having won 27 times each, going back to 1967.

ND’s 14, now 15 game lead in the series stems from the games they won played back in the 30’s, 40’s and 50’s before man had discovered fire or the forward pass and Dinosaurs roamed the earth.

We can harp on the turnovers, bad officiating, bad play calling and the weather; but here’s the damning stat: ND rushed for 308 yards, USC 68. These speak to the aspects of football that aren’t addressed in those 7-on-7 passing tourneys, namely line play and linebacking competence. Today’s high school players would do well to take note of this.
