The Dodgers are back on track, and just in time for a ten game road trip. Encouraging starts (in the MLB and rehab) by Tony Gonsolin and Clayton Kershaw are good news given the injury troubles in the rotation, and the bats came alive against Miami to the tune of 36 runs in three games. Read more »

Bolt Action: 4/30/2025

The Chargers filled a big need with their first-round pick in the NFL draft. Initially there was lot of talk about the Chargers taking a tight end with the 22nd pick. But they signed Tyler Conklin in March and the best tight ends remaining, Colston Loveland and Tyler Warren, were off the board after going at number 10 and 14 respectively.

Bruin Beat: 04/29/2025 – Draft Result

With the 2025 NFL draft officially in the books and 257 players selected, five of those selections were taken from UCLA. Although no one was drafted in the first round, two were taken in the second round, one was selected in the sixth, and two were drafted in the seventh. UCLA ranked tied for fifth with its draft picks and had more players drafted than USC, Michigan State, and Nebraska.

Cougars Blanked by Sea Lions

(Azusa) – Azusa Pacific fell behind 10-0 after two innings and went on to get blanked 11-0 by Point Loma Monday night in the second game of a doubleheader. The Cougars won the first game to split with the Sea Lions.
