Matadores Rally Shocks Apaches

 
Johnny Hills wore down the Apaches.
(Arcadia) – With 9:39 remaining in the third quarter, La Mirada could’ve dropped its head and finished out the season after getting down by 18 points. Instead, the Matadores rallied from that deficit to shock Arcadia 31-28 to move on to the Southeast Division Semi-finals next Friday night.

The Mustangs recorded their first win in Pacific League play by dominating the Tornadoes. Joshua Muema-Washington led the charge for Muir throwing three touchdowns.  Travonta Herod scored two touchdowns from 13 and 27 yards out.
