Fischer Leads Panthers to Win

(Pomona) –Diamond Ranch used Andrew Fischer and Nick Gibson for some “smash-mouth” football in its win over Bonita in the Hacienda League opener for both teams, 21-13.

Lancers Take Advantage of Turnovers

(La Verne) – La Serna took advantage of two Bonita third quarter turnovers to stay undefeated with a 21-20 victory. Faris Nesheiwat recovered a Bearcat fumble on the Lancers 35-yard line and took it to the end zone for the game-winning score with 1:46 remaining in the third quarter.

Bonita Sinks San Dimas in Smudgepot

(Citrus College) – Bonita scored 14 points in the first five minutes of the third quarter to break open a close game and went on to beat San Dimas 40-20 Thursday night in the 40th annual Smudgepot.

Fall Camp with the Bearcats

By Aaron Castro I went camping with the Bonita Bearcats on Wednesday morning. The Bearcats officially opened fall camp at 7:45 AM. It was a wonderful thing to see, 60 degrees and overcast, typical California weather.

Bonita Hosts Five Way Toss

(La Verne) – It wasn’t the Bonita Air Assault. That’s next week. But five schools did show up late Thursday afternoon at Bonita High to throw the ball around.

Damien Advances to Semis for Second Straight Year
