Mid Valley Player of the Year: Baraq Ross – Downey

A Most Valuable Player is a player that the team could not live without. He does a little bit of everything whether on offense or defense. He’s they type of player that if you removed him from the equation it could be the difference between first and fourth place.

Downey Can’t Keep Up With Cajon

By Tim Peterson (Downey) Jayden Daniels racked up 518 yards of total offense and accounted for all eight touchdowns to lead Cajon to a 54-28 victory over Downey Saturday night in the CIF Division 4 Finals at Allen Layne Field.
