By Tim Peterson I love watching this UCLA team. With freshmen Lonzo Ball and T.J. Leaf mixed with seniors Bryce Alford and Isaac Hamilton it’s the most entertaining Bruin team in years. Throw in an Aaron Holiday and a Thomas Welsh and they may have the recipe for a national champion.

Bulldogs in a Winning State, 72-55

  (Pasadena) – Brandon Jolley scored 20 Points and Blake Hamilton added 16 to lead Pasadena to a 72-55 win over South Torrance Wednesday night  in the first round of the CIF State Division III Playoffs. The Bulldogs were tied at 30 at halftime but broke it wide open in the fourth qaurter and won going away.

(La Verne) –  Bonita rebounded from a devastating loss in the CIF Championship game to Orange Lutheran by winning its first ever State Playoff game against Cathedral Catholic in the Opening Round of the CIF State playoffs, 70-56.
