Mid Valley Baseball Top 20

Bonita wins the Arcadia Invitational while Mayfair competes at St. Paul. Alhambra hit a bump in the Almont road while Monrovia looks like the best team in the Rio Hondo. Temple City took a road trip to Vegas but we’re not sure how the Rams fared since what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.

Ram Update: TC Alive and Well

(Temple City) – Everybody else might be on dead period but at Temple City, the Rams are alive and kicking. Temple City took an early dead and came back the week after the Fourth of July holiday.

I remembered the day my sixth grade basketball team at Rio Hondo elementary won the championship. We had to go through a death march to get it done knocking off beasts like Gidley, Durfee and Cherrylee. There was nothing sweeter than walking into Durfee’s house and walking out with a victory.

LC Wraps up Rio

(Temple City)  – La Canada jumped out to a 13-5 first quarter lead and never looked back in a 62-45 win over Temple City Thursday night in the regular season finale. With the victory, the Spartans wrapped up the Rio Hondo title with a 9-1 record and finished 21-5 overall.
