Apaches Win Ugly, 35-32

By Tim Peterson (Arcadia)- Owen Edwards hit a shot just outside the lane with eight seconds left and Arcadia held on to beat Burbank 35-32 Thursday night in Pacific League action on the Apaches home floor.

By Tim Peterson Justin Herbert threw three interceptions all year and threw four in Saturday’s 32-12 AFC Wild-Card Playoff loss to the Houston Texans. Herbert had a bad game, no question, statistically his worst performance of the year, but it didn’t help that Herbert was running for his life most of the day.

Colts Run Past Huskies in Fourth

By Tim Peterson (Covina) – Covina went on a 12-0 run to open the fourth quarter to erase an eight-point deficit and went on to beat South Hills 53-47 Friday night at Covina High School.
