La Serna Finally Reaches Promised Land
(Fullerton) – Frankie Palmer found Matthew Rosales for an 19 yard touchdown pass in the second overtime to give La Serna a 41-38 win over Norwalk Saturday night and claim the Southeast Division championship. For Palmer and La Serna it was especially sweet as they were appearing in their third consecutive Southeast title game after falling short in the previous two.

By Rich Whittington (Lancaster)- Paraclete’s Andrew Jimenez’s 18-yard field goal with 40 seconds remaining defeated and dethroned the three time champion Monrovia Wildcats, 22-21, Friday evening at Antelope Valley College to advance to the 2013 Mid-Valley Division Finals.
It’s Sixties Night for San Dimas
(El Monte) – Joseph “The Count” Mayorga set a school record for most yards rushing in a game as he racked up 322 to lead San Dimas to a 61-28 rout of Arroyo Friday night in the CIF Mid-Valley Divsion Semi Finals. Mayorga scored four touchdowns and also had a 78-yard run down to the two-yard line.
