(Lancaster) – Former Schurr quarterback Aaron Cantu threw for 358 yards and four touchdowns to lead East Los Angeles College to a 35-28 win over Antelope Valley Saturday night.

Covina Hangs on 16-14

(Pomona) – With Billy Livingston out of the lineup with an injury, Covina Coach Darryl Thomas knew he would have to rely on the running attack. Vinny Venegas and Gevontray Ainsworth responded by rushing for 209 yards combined in the Colts 16-14 win over Pomona Friday night in the Valle Vista League opener.

(Covina) – The status on Covina quarterback Billy Livingston is still uncertain acording to Covina Coach Darryl Thomas. Livingston left Friday night’s game against Walnut in the second quarter with an injury to his throwing shoulder.

By Corey Kwok (Buena Park) – Sunny Hills’ tailback Kalil Bushala had 37 carries for 289 yards for Sunny Hills in a 35-6 rout of Pioneer Thursday night. Sunny Hills improved to 1-2 while the Titans remain winless after 3 games.
